Anatomy Workshop in Edinburgh

Anatomy drawing for Artists 13th - 15th April 2012
Alan McGowan teaching anatomy for artists
I will be running another three day workshop in anatomy drawing for artists at the Arts Complex in Edinburgh on the weekend of 13th - 15th April.

The cost will be £180 (or £150 concession). A deposit of £30 is payable at the time of booking to ensure a place. If you are interested in the first instance send me an e-mail to mail@alanmcgowan.com

The course is conducted through demonstration and explanation, reference to anatomical examples, and with an emphasis on drawing from the life model. We will examine the individual elements of anatomy, the main skeletal, muscular and structural forms, whilst being conscious of the overall integrity of the body as a coherent system. While concentrating on anatomy we will also inevitably touch on more general issues involved in drawing the figure, proportion, perspective etc.
